1. What can be reported?

4. What to include in your report
To help us assess a report properly, please include as much specific and relevant information as possible. A clear report is much easier to review than a vague complaint.
Where possible, please include:
- the URL of the page in question;
- the article title or the exact section being reported;
- a concise explanation of the issue;
- why you believe the content is inaccurate, inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise problematic;
- supporting context, reference material, or evidence where relevant;
- your name and a valid contact method if a reply may be necessary.
If the matter involves rights ownership, copyright, authorship, or legal standing, you should also explain your connection to the issue as clearly as possible.
5. What happens after a report is submitted?
Once received, a report may be reviewed on the basis of its seriousness, specificity, apparent legitimacy, clarity, and relevance to the content in question. Not every report will require the same level of action, and not every report will result in removal or revision.
Depending on the nature of the issue, we may:
- review the reported passage or page;
- reassess wording, structure, or context;
- verify facts or revisit source handling;
- correct, update, clarify, limit, or restructure part of the content;
- remove comments or user-generated material;
- temporarily restrict or fully remove content if necessary;
- take no action if the report is unsupported, abusive, or without sufficient basis.
6. No automatic removal
Submission of a report does not automatically mean that the reported content will be removed, edited, or hidden. Editorial review requires judgment, context, and proportionality. In some cases, correction is appropriate. In others, clarification may be enough. In more serious cases, removal or access restriction may be considered.
We assess reports on their merits, not merely on the fact that a complaint was made.
7. Reports involving factual issues
If your report concerns factual accuracy, outdated information, or misleading framing, please explain the issue as concretely as possible. Reports of this type are most useful when they identify the exact statement in question and, where possible, provide supporting references or better-corroborated information.
We take accuracy seriously, but we also distinguish between clear factual errors, interpretation differences, contextual disputes, and editorial judgment.
8. Reports involving copyright or intellectual property
If your report involves copyright, authorship, attribution, reuse, or other intellectual property concerns, please identify the specific material at issue and explain the basis of your claim. Where relevant, you should provide sufficient information to establish ownership, authority, or a legitimate interest in the material.
Additional information may be requested if needed to evaluate the issue responsibly.
9. Reports involving privacy or personal rights
If you believe content on the site affects privacy, personal rights, or reputational interests in a way that requires review, please explain the concern in a direct and specific manner. The seriousness of the issue, the public nature of the content, the context, and any supporting material may all affect how the matter is reviewed.
10. Comment and user-submission reports
If interactive features such as comments are available, reports may also relate to user-submitted content. Comments or messages that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, misleading, spam-like, defamatory, or otherwise inconsistent with the site’s standards may be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed or restricted.
11. Good-faith use of this process
This reporting channel is intended for good-faith concerns. It must not be used as a tool for harassment, intimidation, retaliation, mass pressure, bad-faith takedown attempts, or vague attempts to silence content without a legitimate basis.
Reports that are clearly abusive, malicious, deceptive, repetitive without substance, or intentionally disruptive may be disregarded.
12. Response expectations
We aim to review legitimate submissions as reasonably as possible, but we do not guarantee a specific response time, a personalized reply in every case, or a particular outcome. Some reports may require only brief review, while others may need a more careful assessment depending on the topic and the nature of the concern.
